Ocean Conservation Funding in Oregon

Historically, Oregon has faced challenges in fully leveraging available funding to support ocean and coastal conservation. Our alliance is working with state agencies to strengthen existing resources while pursuing new funding opportunities through legislative action, and/or supporting state budgets that adequately meet mandates. By exploring opportunities to create a more stable and responsive funding strategy, we hope to establish long-term support for Oregon’s ocean and coastal ecosystems and build resilient habitats that sustain the communities that rely on them.
